Planning Center: Enhanced Group Filtering for Multi-Campus Organizations
We're excited to announce a highly-requested update that significantly improves group discovery for organizations operating across multiple campuses.
What We've Added
Based on your feedback, we've enabled the Campus filter functionality for the PCO Groups block, making it easier than ever for users to find the groups relevant to their specific location.
- Filter Availability: The Campus filter is now available to display directly within the PCO Group block on the frontend.
- Flexible Setup: The Campus option has been added to both the PCO Group block's scope settings (allowing administrators to pre-filter group lists) and the user filters (allowing visitors to filter the list themselves).
Why This Matters
This enhancement addresses a key friction point for distributed communities. Previously, the lack of this filter made finding campus-specific groups unnecessarily difficult on the frontend.
- For Users: Your community can now quickly and accurately filter the group directory down to their home campus, leading to a much better user experience and higher engagement.
