I'd like to be able to send our blog posts out as emails (full contents, not just link to post). Built in email subscription system or integration with MailChimp/similar would be great!

Dan Mitchell if you are using Mailchimp there is a feature to subscribe to the RSS feed. You can give them the RSS feed for your blog and it will do that. We currently aren't an email system.
