No "Add New" Category Option

When trying to create a new category that contains words already used in other categories, there's no option to create a new one. In this example, I'd like to create a "2 Corinthians 5" category, but it will only let me choose from the pre-existing options. The only workaround is adding a space at the end, which is not ideal.

Thanks for replying! Unfortunately it happens in most other places too, not just in the batch editor. When editing an episode, under tagging, if you start typing, for a fraction of a second you can see "Add New", then it disappears as soon as it finds categories that contain the input text. However, I've run into situations where I simply want to create a new category that, in this case, has no chapters/verses. (ie. "Exodus" instead of "Exodus 4"). The "Add new" option disappears completely and I'm stuck with the options listed. Thanks!

Hi Elias, it looks like you are in the batch editor. If you create that category from the page or the category section you'll then be able to assign it in batch mode.
